We made a choice to be a part of a food culture, even a food ethic that cares. Holy Cow grows cows on grass—green, clean, simply, grass. We don’t feed cows grain. They were made to ruminate, to chew the cud, and enjoy grass. No antibiotics, no hormones. This transfers from the field to your plate in a clean, fresh, local meat that tastes great and feels good!
Be Connected. We wonder how many people would say beef comes from the store? Beef comes from cows, of course, and we want to help people connect to their food in a more natural and holistic way. We give our cows a full, happy, and healthy life, and when we harvest them, we do it in an ethical, honoring, and respectful way. When we remember the cows that give us beef, we have found it completely changes the way we relate to our food, and we want to help you experience this earthy connection with us. We believe we were made for it.
Do Good. 100% of what we make goes to doing good. There is no payroll, no labor costs. All year we give our time, sweat, worry, and heart so we can do good with what we make from the sale of our beef. We haven’t even bought equipment. We want to make the most of the one life we have to live, and want to help people in ways we couldn’t without Holy Cow. Currently, Holy Cow is funding the building of an orphanage in Southern India.
